Keto and Paleo Snacks and Staples: 7 Picks With the Label Claim
These keto and paleo picks are for anyone following either way of eating who wants to know which labels actually make the claim. Every pick is called keto, paleo or both by its own brand, and an independent listing shows the same claim. One product carries named certifications; the rest are brand claims, and we say which is which.
How we picked
We went through every product on Supercery tagged keto or paleo and kept the ones where the brand’s product page or label makes the claim, then checked each against one independent listing that is not the brand and not an Amazon-owned store. Where a product is labeled paleo but not keto, we list it as paleo only. Seven products made the cut. We have not tasted or tested these products ourselves, and nothing here is diet or health advice; talk to your doctor before changing how you eat.
Certified versus “friendly”
A brand can call a product keto friendly or paleo friendly on its own, while a certification means an outside program has checked it against its own standard. Only one pick here, the California Olive Ranch olive oil, shows both Keto Certified and Paleo Certified marks. The others are brand claims backed by a retailer listing, so read the label if a strict standard matters to you.
Keto and paleo picks
California Olive Ranch 100% California Extra Virgin Olive Oil
California Olive Ranch shows Keto Certified and Paleo Certified badges for this oil, and Vitacost’s listing says the product is Keto Certified and Certified Paleo. It is a single-ingredient extra virgin olive oil for dressings, roasting and finishing. See California Olive Ranch EVOO.
Chomps Original Beef Sticks
Chomps calls its Original sticks paleo, Whole30 Approved and keto friendly, and Thrive Market marks the Original flavor Ketogenic and Paleo. Each stick lists 10 g of protein, 0 g carbs and 380 mg sodium on the brand panel, so it is a savory, carb-free snack that is also on the salty side. See Chomps Original Beef Sticks.
Chosen Foods 100% Pure Avocado Oil
Chosen Foods tags its avocado oil keto and paleo, and the Publix listing calls it paleo and keto friendly. It is a refined, single-ingredient oil with a neutral taste for searing and roasting. See Chosen Foods Avocado Oil.
LMNT Zero Sugar Electrolytes, Citrus Salt
LMNT describes its drink mix as paleo-keto friendly hydration, and Well.ca says it suits people following a keto, low-carb or paleo diet. One stick lists 1,000 mg of sodium and 0 g sugar, which is a lot of salt, so check with your doctor if you watch sodium. See LMNT Zero Sugar Electrolytes.
Paleo picks (no keto claim)
Hu Simple Dark Chocolate
Hu labels its Simple bar paleo, vegan and dairy-free, and Better Health Market repeats “Paleo, Vegan, & Dairy-Free.” Hu makes no keto claim for it, so we list it as paleo only. It is a 70% dark chocolate sweetened with coconut sugar. See Hu Simple Dark Chocolate.
Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts
Manitoba Harvest calls its Hemp Hearts paleo, and Vitacost’s listing shows Certified Paleo. The brand also says keto, but we did not find an independent listing to back that, so we list them under paleo. They need no cooking and top yogurt, salads and smoothie bowls. See Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts.
Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers, Fine Ground Sea Salt
Simple Mills labels these crackers paleo-friendly, and the Stop & Shop listing lists them as paleo. There is no keto claim, so they sit here as paleo only. They are made with almond flour, so skip them if you avoid tree nuts. See Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers.

FAQ
Are “keto” and “paleo” regulated label claims?
They work as brand claims unless a named certification program is on the package, as with the California Olive Ranch oil. Read the nutrition panel and ingredient list to see whether a product fits the plan you follow.
Why are some picks paleo but not keto?
We only list a claim the brand makes and an independent listing confirms. Hu and Simple Mills make paleo claims but not keto claims, and for Manitoba Harvest we found independent support for paleo but not for keto.
Which picks are snacks and which are for cooking?
Chomps, Hu, Manitoba Harvest and Simple Mills are ready to eat. The olive and avocado oils are for cooking, and LMNT is a drink mix.
Should I talk to my doctor before trying keto?
Yes. A big change in how you eat is worth discussing with your doctor, especially if you take medication or have a health condition. The same goes for starting a supplement such as LMNT.
